Asset finance
Asset finance spreads the cost of business equipment over its working life, through hire purchase, leasing or refinancing kit you already own to release cash. Lenders price it on the asset as much as the business, so Atlas gathers the asset detail that decides the outcome before the deal goes out.
What it's used for
- New or used plant, machinery and production lines
- Commercial vehicles and fleets
- Technology and specialist equipment
- Refinancing owned assets to release working capital
What lenders look at
- The asset: type, age, supplier, resale market and useful life
- Whether it is new, used, or already paid for (refinance)
- Business trading history, accounts and current borrowing
- The term requested against the asset's life
- Deposit or any additional security offered
What you'll need to send
You don't need everything on day one. Start with what you have; Atlas tells you what's missing as the deal is underwritten.
- Supplier quotes or invoices for the assets
- Recent management accounts and filed accounts
- Existing finance agreements, if refinancing
- Company and director details
- A short explanation of what the assets are for
How Atlas handles it
- Describe the deal. In your own words, online or on WhatsApp. Rough figures are fine.
- We underwrite it. Atlas checks the figures, asks the questions lenders will ask, and builds a complete pack.
- We match it. Your deal goes to the lenders on our panel whose criteria it fits, not to everyone.
- You compare terms. Lenders respond on the platform, and we help you through to completion.

Start a dealCommon questions
Can I refinance equipment I've already paid for?
Often, yes. Many lenders will advance against owned assets, typically after a valuation where the kit is older or specialist.
What term can I get?
Terms usually reflect the asset's useful life, commonly between two and seven years. Lenders will rarely go beyond the period the asset is expected to keep its value.
Are some assets harder to fund?
Yes. Assets with a weak resale market or that are built into a site (some power and installation works, for example) can be harder, so Atlas flags that early.
