Sports finance

Sport is financed in ways that suit its income: broadcast and prize money, sponsorship, season tickets and venues. Atlas works with specialist sports lenders, banks and private credit funds across every sport, and prepares the case so each lender sees exactly what it needs.

Atlas is not a lender. We arrange unregulated, commercial finance and introduce your deal to lenders on our panel. Any offer comes from the lender, on their terms.

For transfer fee funding, central-distribution advances and club lending in the Premier League, EFL, SPFL, Portugal and Spain, see football finance.

What you'll need to send

You don't need everything on day one. Start with what you have; Atlas tells you what's missing as the deal is prepared.

How Atlas handles it

  1. Describe the deal. In your own words, online or on WhatsApp. Rough figures are fine.
  2. We underwrite it. Atlas checks the figures, asks the questions lenders will ask, and builds a complete pack.
  3. We match it. Your deal goes to the lenders on our panel whose criteria it fits, not to everyone.
  4. You compare terms. Lenders respond on the platform, and we help you through to completion.

Common questions

Do you only cover football?

No. Football has its own page, but Atlas arranges finance across rugby, cricket, motorsport, padel, golf, tennis and multi-sport venues.

Can new padel or leisure venues be funded?

Yes. Lenders typically look for a site, planning, a costed fit-out and a credible operator. Asset finance can cover courts and equipment.

Is club investment available as well as debt?

Where owners want equity partners, see our equity and co-investment page. Equity introductions are for professional investors only.
